Becoming a mother at 24
I became a mother a few months into my marriage. Overnight, I went from a carefree girl to a wife and mother everyone expected to have it all figured out.
The struggle no one warns you about
I didn't. When I returned to work with a 3-month-old, separation anxiety hit hard. Tantrums, sleep, feeding and the daily grind turned me from a calm, easygoing person into someone I didn't recognize: short-tempered, exhausted, guilty.
Building what I couldn't find
So I went looking for a parenting course that actually made sense for real life. I couldn't find one. So I built one. Starting with an MA in Psychology and Child Psychology, and years spent working directly with psychologists to understand what was actually happening in my son's mind, and in mine.
Practicing with purpose
By the time my second son arrived in 2019, I wasn't guessing anymore. I was practicing conscious parenting on purpose. Reading his cues instead of reacting to them, setting boundaries with warmth instead of guilt, and learning that calm isn't the absence of chaos, it's a skill you build.
Where I am today
Today I'm raising a teenager and a young son, and I've turned everything I learned into a practice for other mothers through 1:1 counselling, the Conscious Parenting course, and honest conversations on the Saar podcast. Every mother I work with reminds me why I started: none of us need to have it all figured out alone.
My mission is to help families raise emotionally healthy, confident children.
I guide parents through every stage from toddler tantrums and hyperactivity to teenage emotional wellbeing with practical, psychology-informed strategies in a safe, judgment-free space.
Because a child's wellbeing starts with their caregivers, I also support mothers' mental health and couple relationships, helping families build calmer, more connected homes where every child can thrive.
